Rich Patrylak

Richard Patrylak is a self employed consultant and Strategic Adviser to NavAxxess and has 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry spanning Manufacturing,  Sales, Marketing and Managed Care.

Rich was SVP of Managed Markets and Policy at Merck, responsible for customer strategy, marketing and sales with National and Regional Health Plans, PBMs, Hospital Systems and GPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, VA and DOD, Retail Pharmacy, Long Term Care, Wholesalers, Specialty Pharmacy, Physician Groups, and  Employer Groups. Mr. Patrylak led Merck’s State Government Affairs and Policy Group and worked closely with the DC office on federal policy strategy and implementation.  He also  developed and led Merck’s efforts in Disease Management, Contract Administration, US Pricing, and Customer Market Research.

Mr. Patrylak holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State and a MBA in Marketing from Temple University.
